Ryo Ichijo

Received a Ph.D. from the Graduate School of Biostudies at Kyoto University in 2017. Subsequently, worked as a researcher, specifically appointed assistant professor, and assistant professor at Kyoto University. In 2021, moved to the Yuval Rinkevich laboratory at Helmholtz Zentrum München in Munich, Germany, to research tissue repair. Returned to Japan in 2023 to continue research on age-related tissue changes as an assistant professor at the Institute for Life and Medical Sciences, Kyoto University.
